My Oily Routine

I think you all know by now that I absolutely love Young Living products and how much they have benefited our family. We use them every single day and I’m so glad to have found this one-stop-shop to buy our household items. But of course, as with everything, consistency is key. We only benefit from them if we’re using them.

How I use essential oils daily

This routine changes depending on how my body is feeling and the support I need but here’s a general idea:

  • Morning: I apply whatever oils I need to support my emotions for the day. Feeling down? I apply orange or Joy to make me feel happy. Need to focus? I use peppermint or frankincense. Need energy? Peppermint or citrus. Stressed? Peace & calming or stress away. Seasonal support? Lemon, lavender, and peppermint. Basically, I take stock of how I’m feeling, and go from there.
  • Morning: I almost always apply Progessence Plus and Endoflex for hormone support since that is a daily thing.
  • Morning: I set my diffusers around the house for the day. Lately, I’ve been loving the Simplified Collections. They always blow me away!
  • Afternoon: Time for a pick me up and Ningxia is ALWAYS my go-to! My favorite whole-body supplement that’s full of antioxidants and immune support. Just what I need to get me through that afternoon slump.
  • Evening: My skincare routine is so important and I use a variety of YL’s skincare products. Lately, it’s been the Bloom line. I absolutely love the CBD beauty boost. The charcoal face mask is my FAV and the ART line is also one I rotate through. Check out my skincare routine here.
  • Bedtime: I set those diffusers with our current favorite sleepy-time oils. In the boys’ room we do lavender or SleepyIze and our room is lavender, cedarwood, or peace and calming. I also roll on or inhale the Calm CBD roller. That one instantly relaxes me!

And there you have it! I keep it simple and stick to this routine nearly every day. I’ve gotten so used to it, it’s a part of our lives that we really love. Having habits and routines that are healthy and good for us is so important and this is a routine that benefits all of us.
