Morning Parfaits

I have been obsessed with these morning parfaits and they are so easy to make. They are a delicious and nutritious way to start the day. By preparing them the night before, you can have a quick and easy breakfast option ready to go in the morning. Simply layer chia seeds and/or oats, yogurt, and blended fruit with protein powder, and top it off with granola and fruit. It’s a satisfying and convenient meal that you can enjoy on the go.

Recipe:

Start the night before by adding your rolled oats and plant-based milk together in a container. I love these containers here. I use almond milk and quick-cooking organic oats. Stir and add to the fridge overnight.

-1 Cup Oats

-1 Cup Milk

-I sometimes will add in a scoop of brown sugar or date sugar.

Next, start your chia seeds and almond milk. Mix a few times every couple of minutes so that the seeds don’t stick together or get clumpy. Cover and let it set for at least an hour. You can leave them overnight too.

-2 TB of Chia Seeds

-1/2 Cup Almond Milk

Here is the fun part. The next morning, mix it in layers. Check out my reel here 🙂

Do a base layer of chia seeds or oats (or both).

Yogurt – I added blue spirulina or an antioxidant powder to mine. Or just keep it plain.

Blend frozen fruit and add protein powder. I have two favorites that I like. This one is a pea-based protein and the other is yellow pea protein. I love and use both.

Top it off with granola and fruit.

And voila! It’s ready to go. It is so tempting to eat it once it’s made but make sure to make another batch since it’s a quick and easy grab-and-go breakfast.

My favorite way of layering so far is chia seeds, oats, yogurt, blended smoothie, granola, and fruit.
