Today we made the easiest snack; the best thing is that the kids can make them independently.
They have 5 ingredients:
-oats
–protein powder (I use this one because it’s super clean)
-peanut butter
-honey
–cacao** nibs (for more kid-friendly bites I used mini chocolate chips)
Recipe below!
Easy peasy. Just mix all the ingredients together and roll them into bite-size balls and either eat right away or refrigerate and eat within a few days.
I added these guys to the kids’ snack drawer in the fridge. That is a place where they can go and grab a snack when they want. It has fruit (blueberries, apples, pears, grapes, etc.), vegetables (like carrots), hummus cups, guacamole cups, yogurt cups, and so on.
Recipe:
3 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup honey
1 cup peanut butter
1 scoop protein powder
1/4 cup chocolate chips or cocoa nibs
Enjoy! xoxo
